22R and 22RE Performance Engine Mounts

22R and 22RE Performance Engine Mounts (ORS-EC010)

ORS-EC010

This kit should include the following:

  • 1 x Driver side mount
  • 1 x Passenger side mount
  • 4 x 2” polyurethane bushing
  • 2 x Machined bushing sleeve
  • 2 x 5/8” x 4.5” Bolt
  • 4 x 5/8” Flat washer
  • 2 x 5/8” Lock washer
  • 2 x 5/8” Nut

  • The fit of the engine in the truck is the sole responsibility of the installer. Oil pan x steering/suspension clearance, firewall clearance, radiator x fan clearance, square to vehicle, etc are all perfected by a careful install. Contact ORS with any problems before welding.
  • Due to the nature of their use, there is no warranty on the ORS 22R Performance Motor Mounts.
  • These mounts are built from mild steel, therefore we highly recommend painting or powder-coating before installation to prevent rust.
  • Due to the cutting and welding involved, this installation should be performed by removing the engine.
  • Once installation is complete the transmission will have to be removed before the engine is removed. The tab setup on the frame only allows the engine to be removed straight upwards.

  • We recommend carefully referencing the engine’s location in the engine bay before beginning installation. Whether the engine’s location will be duplicated or not, the reference is very helpful.
  • Install the mounts to the engine block using the original hardware. Refer to the indications on the rear of the mounts. The passenger side bushing will be offset downward while the driver side bushing will be offset upward.
  • Use the original bracket and spacer setup when installing these mounts on the block.

  • If frame brackets were purchased (sold separately), some trimming may have to be done to these brackets for a proper fit.
  • If frame brackets were not purchased we recommend using ¼” thick steel to build the mounting tabs. .
  • Take the time to ensure that all clearances are proper when tack-welding the frame brackets. Watch for oil pan x steering/suspension clearance, firewall clearance, radiator x fan clearance, square to vehicle, etc. Be sure to check all these clearances BEFORE FULLY WELDING.
