Description
These CV boots have been completely re-designed to work with high angle applications, such as lifted vehicles. They are made from silicone material, making them very resistant to the heat and friction created w/ high angles. Kit includes 1 boot, 2 clamps, and CV joint grease. 2 kits are needed per vehicle.
These boots have been tested on ’96-’09 4Runner, ’95-’15 Tacoma, ’00-’06 Tundra, ’01-’07 Sequoia, and FJ Cruiser applications. In these applications, modification to the mounting surfaces is required. These have only been tested on OEM (original) CV joints, proper fit to after-market CV joints is at the discretion of the installer. The ID of the mounting flanges is about 3.5″ and 1″. This boot is about 5.5″ long.
**With tri-lobe shape CV joints (most Tacoma & 4Runner and FJ Cruiser applications), the use of the original boot sealing flange is required. On Tundra and Sequoia models, the steel boot mounting flange will require trimming, see install instructions.**

I bought these out of desperation for my 6 inch bracket lifted Nisan Titan and they work perfectly. Not their intended use but but they work. I’ve had them on for approx 5k miles with no wear marks at all where the stock replacements wore through in in a matter of a couple months. Super happy with product.

These work great on my Tundra with a leveling kit. They’ve done 5k miles or so and a CO winter with no problems. Install was pretty easy. Trimming the little flair off the C/V was easy enough with a hack saw.
