The ORS 1UZ-FE Fuel Hose has been developed in conjunction with North West Toys (NWT) since 2016 for 4.0L 1UZ-FE swaps into older Toyota vehicles.
We offer various solutions to connect the 1UZ high pressure fuel rail to the existing fuel-injected vehicle’s high pressure fuel delivery system, at the hard line from the tank.
For ’88-’95 Pickup and 4Runner models originally equipped with the 3.0L 3VZ, the 1UZ High Pressure Fuel Hose will connect the hard line on the RH frame to the 1UZ OEM banjo fitting, on the fuel rail. This will replace the OEM hose on the engine. These vehicles have a fuel filter inline, along the frame that will remain in use.
Our next option is for Trucks/4Runners originally equipped with the 22R-E (’85-’95). Since the 22R-E’s fuel filter was engine-block mounted, a fuel filter is also needed for this conversion. The 1UZ High Pressure Fuel Hose w/ Filter is a great solution. The ORS 1UZ hose connects directly to the 1UZ fuel rail and directly to the fuel line on the RH frame. An inline fuel filter is installed in this hose. The included 10-micron filter has an easily replaceable and cleanable filter element, and is well suited for this application.
The 1UZ High Pressure Fuel Hose into 3RZ/5VZ Recipients is for ’95-’04 Tacoma and ’96-’02 4Runner vehicles. It will connect to the fuel high pressure hard line on the LH inner fender, then directly to the 1UZ fuel rail. These vehicles have a fuel filter inline, along the frame that will remain in use.
All 1UZ-FE High Pressure Fuel hoses come equipped with a 14mm union fitting, which will be required for fuel line connection in most cases.
